Comments: This review is very difficult to write for a rare reason: in fear of sounding like I am exaggerating, but Dr. Kennedy (and his entire team) are the epitome of AMAZING. We only wish we had gone to him sooner.

Our daughter was at the top of the charts as an All-American sprinter in New Jersey. She was a high-level Division I recruit and projected to achieve great success in her junior year. Unfortunately, early in her winter track Junior year, she faced a terrible accident that severely damaged her right ankle. We sought immediate attention to her injury, knowing how important it was to get her back on the track. After an exhausting four months of conservative treatment that included two different orthopedics, MRI, dynamic ultrasounds, and injections, she was still left with an unstable ankle. Every time she moved it, her peroneal tendon would snap, causing her continued pain. Unfortunately, she was unable to return to the track, and it seemed like major surgery would be her only solution. This would have ruined her chances of competing for a spot on a competitive Division I team. After the stressful four months of treatment, our daughter did not feel comfortable, and we knew we had to find a better solution. We were prepared to take our daughter anywhere to fix this, and luckily we found the solution: Dr. Kennedy.

The very minute we met him, our daughter knew things were going to be okay. She knew he was going to fix her, and that is exactly what he did. He met us with kindness and professionalism, blending expertise with compassion. Our daughter had been very emotional about all of the opinions she had received, and she just didn't feel confident with the other doctors and procedures she had seen before meeting Dr. Kennedy.

He spent a great amount of time looking over her notes and examining her ankle. His team worked by his side, helping to collect our data and insurance information, and within two weeks, our daughter had the best surgery of her life. What would have been a complicated surgical procedure by any other doctor ended up being two small holes and a six-week recovery. Dr Kennedy's unique expertise is with Arthrex tools which offer a Nanotech procedure that creates a minimally invasive surgery. Everyone has been impressed with her results and her physical therapist of 30 years is no exception when stated “ I have never seen such a quick recovery and such a stable ankle…THis is the best work I have ever seen!”. By week 8 post-op our daughter's ankle was strong, and stable, and she was given the green light to go and train without restrictions, without a brace, and we are very grateful.

Most experiences I have had with doctors and their staff always included challenges with communication, insurance, notes, referrals, etc., but Dr. Kennedy’s office is so different. His team you will know by name and they treat you with professionalism and respect. They handle everything, and communication happens by portal, email, or phone within minutes. It is the way healthcare should be.

Dr. Kennedy is a wonderful man and a world-class doctor on the cutting edge. He is ahead of his colleagues. I feel very grateful to have found him and am very impressed with how things worked out. As I stated initially, he is something very special!
