Orthotics [small inserts for your shoes]

We work with two types of Orthotics - Corrective and Adaptive. A Corrective Orthotic is designed to align and adjust the bones of your foot and ankle. In this way, the numerous bones and joints of the foot are supported and placed in proper alignment, allowing the muscles, tendons and bones of the feet and lower legs to function at their best. Adjusting these many small bones in the foot prompts a natural balance for the knee, hip and lower back. Ideally, they can increase stability in an unstable joint, prevent a deformed foot from developing additional problems, and improve overall quality of life by giving you more mobility and less pain. An Adaptive Orthotic simply relieves some pain or pressure.
